What about you? Are you living your dreams? ☁️ As a designer, illustrator, and hand-letterer, I’m always pushing myself to improve through different passion projects. This piece is one of them.
I started initially on the iPad Pro in Procreate and later transferred the illustration layers to Adobe Illustrator where I vectorized the custom hand-lettering and cloud illustrations for larger format printing.
With the cloud formations that I illustrated in Procreate, I created a vectorized series of whimsical constellations, spirals and stars. I’m a big fan Van Gogh’s post-impressionist spirals from The Starry Night (1889) and I used these as an inspiration for the whirling patterns in my illustration.
